Induction Heat Treatment
Inductoheat (Tewkesbury) Ltd have mastered the Induction heat treatment of most complex components, on hardening, tempering and softening back operations. This allows us to undertake everything from large volume automotive processing to small batches of high quality precision components all to ISO 9001:2000 Standard. Heat can be scanned for more controlled pattern hardness and depth or single shot, depending on customers requirements. With the stringent demands of modern quality standards, Inductoheat are able to win out by control of all the parameters involved including in-house precision induction coil design and manufacture and SPC production methods.

Why Induction heat treatment? The main benefits are:-
A) Rapid precise heating minimises distortion. B) Improved impact/wear resistance and tensile/fatique strength from surface hardening, with core properties retained. C) Accurate control of depth and extent of heating. D) Repeatable, versatile, cost effective.
| Our production processing facilities include Induction Generators ranging from 10 to 350 KHZ and powers levels up to 125 KW which covers the most used frequency/power requirements. Our equipment has the capability to rotate and scan vertically with PLC and CNC control. Rotation is essential for even/equal heat distribution to the component. This enables a wide range of heating applications to be undertaken. |
